English Bulldogs crave affection!
The story of how a sweet, female English bulldog came to be with us...
In the fall of 2002, we were buying supplies and dog food for our crew of English bulldogs
and puppies at PetSmart. One of the helpers asked what breed of dogs we had and the
answer was, of course, English bulldogs.
"Oh," she said, "I've got a bulldog, too! What should I feed her?"
To make a long story short, their was little affection for her bully so we made an offer
to buy her. She has a wonderful personality! Plus, she minds!
She loves to ride with me in the pickup truck with her head on my lap (?).
Her 3 level pedigree has a couple of champions in it -- FLO'S HUNKA CHUNKA BURNIN LUV and
another one.
When we brought her home, she was rather thin and her chest had not developed.
This is Sweet Tater Pie in the fall of 2002:
We started feeding her Purina Puppy Chow and six months later, she had a new look!
Another couple of months later, she made friends with the new kid, "Peanut Butter Cookie",
and they played all summer.
We keep all of the adults on Purina Puppy Chow and it really made a change in Sweet T. Pie!
