Puppy Gal's Recommendations

Worm Medication

Preventive monthly worming, including heartworms, is essential for a healthy English Bulldog.

Deworming or preventive worming is necesary. The initial treatment is at 2 weeks; repeat at 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age, then monthly or in conjunction with the "puppy shots" until the puppy is 6 months old. After 6 months the English Bulldog Pup should be given a heartworm preventative medication that is also effective against hookworms and roundworms.

A yearly physical exam with fecal should detect any parasite not controlled by the above.
