This is the story of Thistles!
Peanut Butter Cookie follows me when I take the big bulldogs out for a walk.
He scampers this way and that -- investigating strange smells and mushrooms and flowers.
Once he surprised a frog that was sitting under a toadstool.
The frog jumped and landed in a mud hole.
Peanut jumped too! But, NOT into the mud hole!
When Peanut gets dirty, he has to take a bath and Peanut doesn't like to take a bath...
We walked past the frog and Peanut spied a purple flower.
"What is that?" he asked.
"That's a thistle! Can you say 'thistle'?"
"Thistle!" he said very clearly!
Peanut's long tongue sticks way out when he says 'thistle' -- it's so funny to watch!
|
"Now, Peanut, here's another tongue twister to practice:
Theopholis Thistle, the thistle sifter,
sifted a sieve of unsifted thistles.
A sieve of unsifted thistles,
Theopholis Thistle, the thistle sifter, sifted!"
Peanut said, "I can say 'thistle' but I can't say 'Theopholis'!"
...but when he was trying to tell me he couldn't say the word, he said it.
