"Good Morning, Alison" I greeted my daughter who was visiting. "It's time to meet the best bulldog in the whole wide world -- Peanut Butter Cookie!"

Alison loves animals but has yet to experience the yuchy, wet bulldog kiss.

Alison said, "I'd like to meet him. I've heard and read so many stories about Peanut. Where is he?"

I called, "Peanut! Come and meet Alison!"

Around the corner of the house came Peanut running as fast and as floppy as he does. He ran right up to Alison and said, "Hi, Alison! You can pet me if you want..."

"It's nice to meet you, Peanut Butter Cookie. You are a beautiful bulldog!"

"Yes, I know... But, you're pretty, too! Do you want to play?" Peanut asked.

"Not yet, Peanut. I need to eat breakfast first. Then we can play."

Peanut said, "You can eat later... It's time to play!"

I said, "Peanut, mind your manners. Alison just woke up. And we stayed up late last night talking and talking. So, it might be a while before she is ready to play with you..."

Peanut looked at her and whispered, "Who is she, dad?"

I whispered back, "Alison is my daughter."

Just then, the Count and Jelly Roll rushed up to meet Alison. Peanut said, "Stay back. Don't jump on Alison! She's MY SISTER!"
