This is the story of
Peanut and Sweet Tater Pie

Sweet Tater Pie is a pretty, English bulldog girl. Her short name is Sweety Pie.

Peanut loves to play with Sweety Pie because she is very gentle toward Peanut.

Their play time was spoiled today because it rained and rained with loud thunder and lightning. When the storm passed and the sun came out from behind the clouds, Peanut and Sweety Pie went outside to 'investigate'! They watched the frogs swimming in the rain water. They watched the birds eating the creatures crawling around in the mud. Peanut wanted to wade in the puddles but Sweety Pie said, "Don't get dirty!"

The two bulldogs played until it was time for supper. The first time that they were called, they didn't want to come in. But, then I used a 'secret weapon'!

When Beth and John had visited us, they left some homemade treats that had oatmeal and honey and lots of good stuff. So all I had to do was say, "Treats!" and let the two hungry dogs smell the cookies. You should have seen them run!
