It was his 'outdoor voice'!

An outdoor voice is the one you use to holler at the cats and the other dogs when you want to scare them away! Peanut brought his outdoor voice inside with him. He uses his outdoor voice whenever he is hungry! He thinks he gets more to eat when he barks really LOUD!

Miss B's new puppy named 'Marshal' woke up this morning and his eyes blinked open! When little puppies are born their eyes are shut tight. I think that is so other puppies don't scratch their eyes when they are all crowding around to nurse. Marshal thought that he would like to meet and finally see his buddy, "Peanut"! Until now, Marshal and his brothers and sisters couldn't see Peanut. They would look for him and all get under Peanut's tummy and lift Peanut right off the ground! It was so funny watching Peanut floating along on the other puppies! Marshal and Peanut played together for a while. Then they sat and talked about what they are going to be when they grow up. Marshal wants to be a Marine mascot. Peanut wants to play center for the Lakers. I hope they are right!
