I wanted to send you some pictures of Tyson. Christina took these to show off what he
learned class. She gets him to sit and lay down, and is now working on him giving her
paw. He's so smart, it's amazing! I also wanted to send you these, because he loves the
fact that the leaves have fallen, and he can roll around and run and jump in the leave
piles. He's such a silly!Wednesday - 11/30/05 7:30 AM
Yesterday was a GOOD day, but the evening was filled with sadness. Lynne my friend who has
been battling cancer is in the hospital with pneumonia. It is unknown at this time if it
is 'just' pneumonia or if this is another flair from her cancer. With tears flowing, I sent
out 75 emails last night to people who know her, advising them of her situation and asking
for prayers. I would greatly appreciate your prayers and positive
thoughts for this courageous Lady.
All the pups have someone interested in reserving them, I just held off until I took them in for their "well puppy physical" yesterday afternoon. Now I can advise the interested people and try to finalize the situations.
Gooey had already passed her physical with flying colors, Jerimiah did also. Sweet William has
a tiny, tiny hernia which the vet thinks will close on its own therefore did not want to risk
surgery. Ruby Begonia had a little larger hernia so we opted to have it repaired. She awoke wrapped
in a blanket in my arms on the way home from the vet's office.
Our overnight low was 27F so the Bullies sure didn't want to go outside to potty.
They were all pretending to be asleep but Jazzman who was up and ready to eat breakfast at 5 AM. lol lol
Aren't these Holiday Cactus beautiful. They bloom around by birthday each year and it certainly makes me smile. I think it's good for the soul to be surrounded by that which makes us smile (things, plants, animals or people). Have a Good Day - Judy
Tuesday - 11/29/05 1:00 PM OH MERCY!!! What a birthday present... a friend sent me 2 cuttings of a "special brugmansia". A single plant about the size of mine recently sold on eBay for $228, so that would be a total of $456 for my two!!!! Boy am I going to feel bad if they don't survive the winter. Right now they are doing great!! - Judy Tuesday - 11/29/05 1:00 AM Happy Birthday To Me Happy Birthday Dear Judy Happy Birthday to me!! The turkey ate my birthday.... My birthday always got lost in the confusion of Thanksgiving. The parties I should have been given became Thanksgiving Dinners and the birthday cake was one of the deserts absent candles, never presents and only a few times was there even a mention of what should have been my special day. At a young age, I stopped telling people my birth date because I didn't want to be disappointed when they didn't remember. All of this changed 19 years ago, when I was 40 years old and met Bob. He makes MY Birthday special!! I tell you all of this so you won't let the same thing happen to your child, grandchild or friend .... make them feel special. Now let the fun begin ... I'm sure I'll get puppy kisses, big bully lovin' and breakfast in bed. Too busy to go anywhere but that won't stop this from being my special day!!! - Judy Monday - 11/28/05 5:00 AM Lord Have Mercy!!! There is still such a long load time that I had to make November Judy's Journal a three part ... this is a first. Monday - 11/28/05 3:00 AM (Up With Pups)

Working as a "lay therapist" (older than dirt therefore much experience to pass on to the younger generation) with a young lady, I realized her parents were assigning her impossible tasks, which made her feel unworthy, inferior, etc. Watch out for 'impossible task assignments' from parents, spouses, people in authority or those you love!! It's a terrible trap!!! Sunday - 11/27/05 11:30 AM
Whew!!! You would not believe the man hours involved in raising these puppies,
maintaining this website, taking these pictures and dealing with people who express
interest in getting one of them. To be fair to everyone, reserving of these puppies starts Monday because I have yet to process some applications I have received. Hope you enjoy the pictures and that they will start your week off with a smile!!! - Judy Jerimiah Was A Bulldog ...Release Date Weekend of 12/10Unregistered $1200 DOB 10/17/05 (almost 6 wks old in 11/26 Pictures)

She is going to be very small, what I call my Mini-Bulldogs, when grown (about....14" top of shoulders tall and 14" long, 35-40 lbs). Unfortunate situation arose with the people who had her reserved therefore I put that she was reserved (For Bob, Memphis,TN that's my Bob and we have a rental house in Memphis) because I was sick and just didn't want to discuss placing her until I had the time and energy to think.

Friday - 11/26/05 11:30 AM http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10205076/site/newsweek (you will need to copy & paste this URL) Maybe my Grandfather was Jewish instead of Methodist (lol lol), because this sure sounds like something my Papa would have written. I'm going to read all of Rabbi Gillman's articles, what an inspiration. -Judy Friday - 11/25/05 5:00 PM Switching the radio over to a local station I heard this crazy Christmas song "Leroy The Redneck Reindeer" and like to have rolled in the floor laughing. I could just envision a redneck reindeer, I've seen plenty of human examples. Friday - 11/25/05 11:00 AM What to do with Turkey Leftovers!!! Bully Treats - Cut into Doggie treat size chunks, wrap in plastic wrap so they won't stick together, put in ziploc bag and freeze. 'Our gang' loves them frozen or thawed. This makes an excellent treat, to use in training your Bully. Bully Gravy & Stew - - Recipes For Bully Treats, Gravy & Stew - Judy Friday - 11/25/05 3:30 AM (Puppy Feeding)
Thursday - 11/24/05 5:00 AM Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Just a reminder that your Thanksgiving Dinner with friends or family today will be an event that will make
memories for years to come ... do your very best to make sure they are pleasant memories.
Regardless of how the food tastes compliment your host and tell them how wonderful they are.
Nothing makes a person feel worse than to have
spent countless hours cleaning and cooking then for people not to appreciate their effort ... or even make negative
remarks. Helpful hint if you are the person who always gets stuck with cooking and you don't want to do it ever again:
- put lots of salt in the pumpkin pie- sugar down the iced tea until it's almost syrup - add a little vinegar to the dressing/stuffing - burn the rolls - BUT make one dish perfect I promise if you do the above, from now on you will only be asked to fix the single dish you prepared to prefection. Of course if you mess up all the food, you'll never be asked to prepare any ever again. This works, I know for certain. (lol lol)
I must confess we ate stuffing with Pepper Jelly, instead of Cranberry Sauce, last night for supper, along with cole slaw both of which
we fixed for Thanksgiving Dinner. 'Our gang' including the strays who came to stay and the
cats someone threw away will be eating turkey. I ended up buying two because they were just $.49 per pound
cheaper than canned dog food and much better for them.
I made a large batch of Kim Chee (Korean Fermented Cabbage) and although it is not one of
our Thanksgiving traditions, Bob would like for it to be. I used Nappa Cabbage, Daikon
radish were not available so I was forced to substitute reds, garlic, carrots, ginger, mega
red pepper, rice wine and a tad of soy sauce. I don't eat it, too wild for me, but Bob loves it.
I try very hard to please him because he is always so very kind to me. These pictures are of 6 month old Pebbles, daughter of Carlotta & Jazzman. This is her first snow. The last picture was August 1, 2005 when she was "going home". Isn't she beautiful!! Click Here For Litter Pictures!! - Judy Wednesday - 11/23/05 7:30 AM Take Pictures Of Your Bully & Order Your Holiday Greeting Cards NOW!!! The best place I found was Wal-Mart if there's one better let me know. Feeling feisty here this morning and hope you all are also. Just wanted to take a moment to wish you a Good Day, before I start working away. - Judy Wednesday - 11/23/05 2:30 AM (Up To Feed Pups) Dear Sweet Bob is cooking Thanksgiving Dinner since I've abused my poor neck moving plants, grocery shopping, lifting, bending, stooping... etc. He is cooking ahead so Thanksgiving Day will be a lazy enjoyable day without hassle. He's got the turkey thawing in one section of the sink in cold water, he's got the stuffing ingredients laid out on the counter and plans to put the bird on to bake soon because the temps are going low and the additional heat in the house will not be wasted. How is that for thinking ahead. He's such a wonderful, loving person, too bad all of you don't have the opportunity to know him personally!!! I'm working on the computer answering emails, reviewing applications, editing/sizing/uploading pictures etc. My objective is to allow the puppies be reserved next week. However my birthday is Tuesday so I would like to have it all accomplished by then so my birthday can be peaceful. In reference to people wanting one of the puppies, whenever they make a statement like the following on the application or to me over the phone, I can't help but give a lengthy response, an example of which follows the statement. No Bully, or any other dog, should be thought of in this manner. If you think of them in human terms you are setting yourself up to be greatly disappointed because they are animals and will have animal behavior and instincts. You becoming disappointed could result in lost of affection for the Bully, resentment toward the breeder and ultimately in yourself for giving up the Bully. They should be treated like a dog and the proper dog/master relationship established by going to training classes. They must be taught to obey commands. (Not meaning to offend here but if you truly want a "baby" get a little poodle or some other small dog which can be carried around in your arms and therefore prevented from getting into trouble.) Proper training, from DAY ONE, is very important for the health and well being of any Bully. If it started to eat a dead rat found in the park which might have been poisoned, you should be able to give him a command of "no" to prevent him doing so. Likewise there are many situations in which it could be harmed or killed if he does not obey. Here are just a few actually told to me by the owners: - ran out in front of a car, got killed - ran out of the house, when the door was open, got lost - jumped off a deck, injuring shoulder - jumped up on a person, got flipped on it's back, spinal injury resulted - ran toward a pack of stray dogs, they attacked (Never, ever have your Bully outside a fenced in area without it being on a lead.) A Bully pup needs consistent training 24x7 for the first 6 months or so. Now that doesn't mean you can't love, hug and snuggle, but it does mean that training it to be a good companion should be your top priority, not playing with or spoiling. If you do not agree with the above, please do not pursue getting one of my "babies" because I want them to have the very best possible chance at a long healthy life with the person who gets them from me. I want them to have a stable environment full of love until they go to PuppyDog Heaven. - Judy
Tuesday - 11/22/05 1:05 AM (Up Feeding Pups) Those of you who have been here to visit I'm sure will remember "Big Red"... Best guess is that he is 1/2 English or boxer and 1/2 Redbone Hounddog, due to his deep hound dog bark and odd appearance. Big Red is also psychotic and my soul has been bothered beyond belief many times in regard to him.
I may have to tell Big Red three times to go to the porch, but once he does, there he'll
be regardless of how long it takes me to get there ... only God Forbid something odd
happening. Anything that is out of the ordinary sets him OFF. Once I
was returning from Memphis with him in a 4x4 Bronco, I hit a bumpy, slow down strip in the
road, he jumped from the back seat into the front, maybe being protective of his 'mama', maybe just being
crazy, he attacked the gearshift from which he
thought the sound was coming and in the process knocked the transmission into reverse.Dog Gone, here I was in the middle of unbelievable traffic with a deranged dog and vehicle I couldn't get out of the middle of the road. I concluded knocking it into reverse resulted in it going into neutral, but the motor had to be turned off before it could be put in gear again. It was more than a few minutes before I figured out what to do. You're asking yourself how did she stop him from attacking the gearshift, I bellowed like the 'demon from downunder' "NO" which I have been telling you all about. Instantly, Big Red returned to the backseat of the Bronco.
Scared the dickens out of me for
sure!!! So I have had really long talks with two vets, research the internet, talked with trainers
... all data points to basically, if
an animal is not predictable or in this case maybe psychotic, serious consideration should be
given to "putting it down". This one fact I believe, if ever I was in trouble, Big Red would be there for me. OK so maybe it's just an excuse but I couldn't do it, cause when he's not going off he is such a good, kind sweetheart. However we did make the decision to control his environment 100%. Lately I've felt so bad that he is confined 75% of the time to an outside 10x10 pen since he attacked the tires of the electric meter reader's truck and pulled the electrician off the porch by his trouser leg because he didn't heed Red's warning to stop using the drill. Big Red barked at him when he started the drill the first time and when he used it the second time, he grabbed his pant's leg, NOT his leg and started dragging the man off the porch away from the house. I arrived on the scene within moments, screamed at him and he immediately let go. He's only allowed out to run when we can be with him which is twice daily.
Big Red is now Hen Pecked!!! Two years ago I got 6 chickens in early spring. Rhode Island
Reds are mean as the devil, stupid and messy, messy. Cutting to the chase, we only have
one left a female who is so weird. Lately, since it has turned off cold, she has decided
to take up residence with Big Red. She flies out of her pen/coop and gets into his pen
with him... into his igloo. In the begining Bob got her out of his pen, 2 or 3 times a
day when Big Red would bark to let us know something wasn't right. Now she's boss and when
being fed he makes for the food right away, she will peck his behind and make him wait for
her to finish, trouble is she gets in it with both feet and scratches it out on the
ground. Poor Big Red ... but we're beginning to think he likes it. Lord help anything that
tries to 'get' his chicken, so maybe that old devil chicken is smarter than we think.![]() Click Here For "Attack Chicken", Her Brother He got his feathers ruffled!!! Monday - 11/21/05 3:30 AM (Up With Pups) http://www.upnaway.com/~poliowa/scoop%20on%20poop.html (copy and paste url) I was doing research, somehow got to this webpage and realized I didn't know POOP!! Although the article and chart pertains to humans, it definitely gives enough information so that we can determine (for humans and pets) if an adjustment in diet is needed or a doctor/vet visit is in order. I'm off to take a nap... hope your Monday starts off good and stays that way. - Judy "You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him." James D.
