If you purchase a puppy from me and a health issue arises within the first year which your
Veterinarian believes to be a life threatening genetic disease, you will receive a full refund of
the purchase price in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth below.
We give no other guarantees either written or implied. Our English Bulldogs are pet quality only
and are not to be considered "show quality" nor are they to be used for breeding purposes.
You must have proof of the following, without which this Health Guarantee is void:
- Immediately problem notification was given to me via email, within 24 hours .
- You followed my directions exactly concerning action to be taken to resolve the problem.
- Store receipts for the brand puppy food I recommended.
- Veterinarian records to show the puppy was given scheduled/timely "puppy shots", worm medication
etc. as explained on my website.
- Identification, i.e. micro-chip or tatoo.
1) Validation of the medical problem.
A second independent Veterinarian opinion must be obtained by you.
It can't be from a Veterinarian who is in the same practice as your Veterinarian or one who
is using only the records of the first veterinarian upon which to base the diagnosis.
An examination
and valid testing for the supposed disease must be completed by the second Veterinarian.
If the diagnosis is confirmed, I must receive a letter from BOTH Veterinarians using these words
"In my opinion English Bulldog ......, as shown in the attached picture which has been initialed
and dated by me, has a life threatening genetic disease. The disease is........."
I have the option of requiring a third veterinarian of my choosing to examine the pup and it
will be your responsibility to make it available to be examined. I will be responsible for the
veterinary charges associated with this, and only this 3rd examination.
In the case of a "sudden death" an autopsy by a institute certified to preform this service, is required and
it must clearly state that the cause of death was from a genetic disease.
2) Return of the puppy to my possession along with written validation of the medical problem as outlined
above and from that time forward I alone will be
responsible for discovery and treatment of the disease. You will receive a letter from my Vet
giving the prognosis.
3) A full refund of the purchase price will be given to you upon return of the puppy to me
along with written validation of the medical problem as outlined
above. No other
monetary considerations will be given.
If you are unwilling to release the puppy into my possession, I will not be responsible for:
- Refunding the purchase price of the puppy or any associated expenses, medical or otherwise.
Nor will I be part of the discovery process. I am very
much attached to all of my "babies" even after they become yours, therefore please don't
ask me to sacrifice my emotions unless you give me complete control of the process.
In addition, I will not be responsible for any motel or travel expenses incurred in conjunction with
any of the above situations.

03/09/04 Amendment: Any dispute concerning this Guarantee which can't be settled between
me and the new owners of a pup, must be settled in Arbitration instead of a Court Of Law.
All resulting hearings or legal action must be conducted in Hardeman County in the State
of Tennessee.
(This Amendment is the direct result of my being told about a group of con artists
operating out of a Northern state, who are buying animals of all descriptions in the Southern
part of the USA via the Internet, then immediately filing a Lawsuit in their home state,
claiming misrepresentation in regard to the puppies health. The sellers without the above
paragraph in their Health Guarantee are faced with the option of
hiring a lawyer to fight the lawsuit in a state 1200+ miles away and being present for the
hearings, etc. or refunding the money paid for the animal.)
03/15/05 Revised: All it takes is one person with a 'bad attitude' toward life to force us
to resort to short legal documents which have no heart. Thank Goodness in 15 years, I've only had two, that's a
great record.
