Dozer - New Owners: Jessica, Ken, Konnor of Ohio
Wednesday - 08/30/06 4:00 AM
We received the following email on Sunday:
Hi Judy & Bob,
We just wanted to pass along some updated pictures of Sampson (son of Eve & Jazzman). What do you think of his
head now? Wow has he grown this past month. His previous weight was 33 lbs - we weighed
him yesterday at PetSmart and he is now 45 pounds! I actually thought he lost weight
because he looks thinner - but he's taller I guess.
The last picture shows his marking on his back - we call it our "Gold Fish" as Konnor eats
gold fish all the time and we noticed if you look at it sideways that's what it looks like.
We are loving him so much - Sophie really likes having him to play with. Although we had a
mishap Friday - Sophie got her eye scratched pretty bad from them playing. $150 later and
we are on the road to recover - she's wearing an Ecru collar and can't play with Sampson
for at least a week. Things happen and we are babying her much more than usual to care
for her recovering needs.
We hope your both doing! well. I haven't been on your site for a little bit - we've been
painting Konnor's new big boy room - and Sampson loves helping out with that. One night
his whole side was bright blue from wanting to be so close to me while I painted. Thank
goodness it came of easily.
Well, we will continue to keep you updated. You both take care. Sampson sends sloppy
kisses and give our sloppies to all your bullies.
God Bless,
Jess, Ken & Konnor

Dozer went to his new home today in Ohio. We met Jessica, Ken, Konnor & Miss Sophie
in Jackson, TN for them to get him. Konnor, son of Jessica & Ken slept through
our visit. I should have thought to take a picture of him, but I didn't. I don't as a
rule place one of the puppies in a home with a 3 year old, but Konnor interacts so well
with their Boxer, Miss Sophie, that I made an exception.
Dozer who is now named Sampson, was so scared. I had told them he was a 'chickie' puppy, just
like his grandfather Buster was at that age. Poor baby was shaking from the ride in the van to Jackson with the big
trucks passing us, the vehicle activity at the restaurant where we met and then there were
strangers looking at him. They assured me they would take it slow and easy with him.

Title:Winston...He was one of Judy's
Winston is now 18 months old and the most lovable dog. He loves his mom and dad, and
loves when guests come around. He also loves his pumpkin! Happy Halloween!
Note:Judy...You may remember Winston as Buster Two. We just love him and apologize for
how long it has been since our last update. And true what you said about his father or
grandfather he is a scaredy cat, but the most lovable dog and loves lying in the sun, and
just loves when his mom and dad are around him.

Thank you so much for posting his picture!!! He is beautiful!! The good thing about him
being a scaredy cat, he won't go off with anyone and when he gets older he will put his
hindquarter against your leg if a stranger appears, as if to say "mine". It would take
some provoking but I think Buster, grandfather, would be very protective if the situation called for it,
but only if there was danger. Do keep in touch. -Judy

Judy, He is very protective and does do that with his hindquarter when strangers appear
and does this funny little "ruff" to show he is not really a scaredy cat but when he
figures out they are not hurting us or him....he's just a big, lovable baby. He loves for
us to love on him, but more importantly he loves to love on us.
I'll try to post more pics soon. We will never have another dog other than a bulldog.
Thanks for our wonderful dog who brings a smile to our face every day. -
Brandon and Andrea
P.S. Winston is about to have a brother or sister come March. We are expecting our
first!...(well, second really(winston)..haha)

Hi Judy, I thought you might like to see current pictures of Carmela ( formerly Maxine, of
Eve and Jazzman's 3-5-06 litter ). We attended a fundraising walkathon for homeless dogs,
she was the only bulldog that attended. She didn't quite walk that far, but she enjoyed
socializing with the other dogs. Anyway, they had several contests for the dogs to partake
in . . .we entered her into the "Winning Smile" contest, there's nothing more cute than a
bulldog smile so I knew she had a good chance. She won!!
You can't look at that face and not love it. Thanks, Jennifer

Hi Judy,Just thought you might be interested in seeing some recent pictures of our little
Carmela, formerly Maxine, just to see how much she has grown.
She truly is the best pup, and definetly a momma's girl. She sleeps with me every night,
if not on my chest then at my feet. And no complaints from me, I love it. She loves car
rides, going to Petsmart, going on walks, playing with her sister ( Fibi ), and being just
about anywhere that we are.
Thanks again, Jennifer
05/04/06 - still damp from her bath and very interested in the noodles I was trying to eat while Bob took
