2/15/02 I have so many cute pictures of Ernie. What better time to get a new camera? Ernie is a sassy character who likes authority in the end. He growls and fusses then just as quickly as he protests, he gives in. Our "four wheel drive, low gear pup" has met his match in me. He loves life here. Not a touch of his shaky self exists. He has almost won over Rosebud, hater of young pups! He WON'T give up his blanket, but he will share. Rosebud has come to admire his character. She even wags her tail at him. ( Between you and me, I'm certain that she would now claim she has no control of her tail whatsoever.)
Ernie and I went to the shop again today. (We're practicing car manners.) I had to work on setting up their computers. He greets everyone individually and tries to find bits of wax on the floor. We've never had a cleaner shop. Everyone grabs a broom and starts sweeping so Ernie won't eat any wax. One of our employees grew up with an English Bulldog who climbed trees. Another has a Boston Terrior. Ernie gets lots of praise for going potty in the right place. He must be feeling like a King. He spends so much time on his back - his favorite position!

Happy at 37 pounds is very small as well as short, good lap size.
Pepper weighs 55 pounds and is all male!
